The Dumb Friends League is committed to ensuring that all pet food donations are distributed to local families in need, providing vital support to those facing challenges in caring for their pets. Additionally, all consumable items such as beds, blankets, towels, and care products will be used to assist the animals currently residing at the shelter. In an effort to further support families, these items will also be included in a special take-home gift basket for anyone who adopts one of their long-stay animals. For example, if you adopt Cashew, a young and cheerful pitbull-mix who has been at the Quebec Shelter since August 2024, you will receive a basket filled with essential items to help your new furry friend settle in and thrive. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of both pets and their new families!

For our 16th Annual Toys 4 Tats Drive, we’re collecting a variety of items to support children and families in need. We welcome donations of new and unopened toys for young children, including stuffed animals, building blocks, dolls, games, art supplies, and educational toys. We also encourage donations for older kids and teenagers, who are often overlooked during the holiday season. Items such as board games, books, sports equipment, tech gadgets, headphones, and age-appropriate clothing are always appreciated. Additionally, we gladly accept new and unopened non-perishable food items that are not expired, to help support families in need this holiday season. Together, we can ensure that every child, no matter their age, has something special and that every family feels cared for!
